Blue Chip client near Edinburgh require a Telecomms Infrastructure support Analyst with considerable knowledge and understanding of voice network management issues. Candidates need to have a good knowledge and understanding of communications standards and protocols, access methods and architectures. Working knowledge of UNIX and*or NT*W2K. Minimum of 2 years experience working in a Support environment, Voice communications operation, analysis and design skills. Experience in the administration of Call Centre technologies including ACD, CTI, IVR and Predictive Diallers. Excellent communications skills, Customer focused, Good team player, Able to learn and apply new skills quickly and effectively, Analytical approach to problem solving. Desirable: HNC in Information Technology or equivalent, Avaya qualifications, Knowledge of IP based communications and Voice-over-IP. Familiarity with Cisco network kit. Previous experience of operating successfully at this level in a similar environment, e.g. call centres, broadcasting or alternatively a blue chip organisation with leading edge technology.
